Title: RFP Writer

Salary: £45k plus package

I am currently looking for an RFP writer who can either be based in Dublin or London, although our client would have a huge preference for Ireland. This Asset Management House has a global presence with significant involvement in Europe and the US.

Due to the level of this role it is essential when being considered that you have at least 3 years RFP experience within an Investment Management firm, applications from an Investment Banking will be considered however if your experience is outside the financial industry our client is unlikely able to take your application further.

The role will offer the incumbent a chance to become a senior and integral member of this team, you will act as a No2 to the RFP Manager as well as offering support and mentoring less experienced RFP writers in your team.

A suitable benefits package is on offer however the main benefit of this role is the progression you can potentially make in the short term.

Key Tasks:
• Respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) from prospective and current clients across Global Distribution.
• Prepare RFPs for processing by formatting documents in compliance with company standards.
• Data gathering, data analysis and preparation and customisation of response when required together with RFP Database Administrator and Subject Matter Experts.
• Co-ordinate RFP responses to accurately and favourably present the organisation’s investment products and services.
• Build and maintain relationships with marketing and other operational departments with the organisation.
• Submit the completed RFP response to the Legal & Compliance Department for review and approval.
• Respond to ad hoc, non-RFP requests for written information.
Skills Required:
• Familiarity with RFPs and the consultant questionnaire response process.
• Between 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
• A relevant degree, preferably in Business or Finance
• Willingness to learn and undertake new challenges.
• High aptitude and inquisitiveness for acquiring an in-depth understanding of investment products and services.
• Demonstrate analytical, research and organizational skills required. Ability to work under pressure and manage several deadline-oriented projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrate interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and with other professionals at various organisational levels. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, particularly Word and Excel.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously - self starter.
