Our client, a boutique wealth manager covering a broad range of investments is seeking an Operations Executive to join their team.

The role will encompass a number of tasks ranging from trade support and Ad-hoc project work, to general operational activities and cash management. Due to the nature of the firm applicants will get a lot of valuable exposure to different areas of the business, making it perfect for graduates with 1+ years experience looking to expand on their buy side experience. Further tasks include:

- Support portfolio managers with trade issues
- Act as a point of contact for trade queries from the Investment team
- Monitor cash positions and reconcile margin requirements
- Provide a framework to ensure that internal costs are appropriate and authorised
- Liaise with the custodians, prime brokers and executing brokers
- Identify and action improvements to existing procedures

Candidates applying should have at least 1+ years experience within a similar role and certainly from an asset management house, hedge fund or fund administrator. Someone with knowledge of trade input, trade reconciliation and discrepancy resolution would certainly take preference. Finally, someone with strong communication and organisational skills is considered necessary.
