Credit Research Analyst

Description

Our client a leading Investment Management firm is looking to hire a Credit Analyst to join their European Credit Research team.

The successful candidate will generate investment ideas across a range of credit strategies.

Key responsibilities:

• Work closely alongside  Portfolio Managers, generating investment ideas through fundamental research and relative value analysis
• Analyse and understand legal structure of securities, and financial/business risk of the company
• Active participation in investment discussions and contribute towards credit research team’s outlook
• Attend external events such as consultant meetings, new business pitches and client meetings

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 3 years’ fundamental credit analysis experience with a buy-side, sell-side or ratings agency firm
• Strong academic background; with a first or upper-second class degree
• CFA or other relevant professional qualification
• Excellent communication skills
