Equity Research Analyst – Newly Qualified ACA

Description

Our client, a boutique asset manager is looking to hire an Equity Analyst. This position will be working within a small team as a generalist supporting the Portfolio Managers.

Key responsibilities:

• Undertake fundamental analysis to generate investment recommendations
• Build financial models and financial analysis
• Sector/market research to build a better understanding of the context within which a company operates
• Contribute to investment debate
• Attend industry conferences, company meetings

Ideal candidate profile as follows:

• ACA with a big four accounting firm
• First time passes in professional examinations
• Strong academics; 1^st or 2:1 from a leading university
• A clear interest in equity markets and investing
• Team player
