Description

Our client, a global asset manager is looking to hire a Credit Analyst. This individual will join an established Credit portfolio management team and cover the TMT sector on a global basis .

The key responsibilities:

  • Perform credit analysis across the corporate debt spectrum, making investment recommendations based on analysis of credit fundamentals, relative value and market dynamics
  • Contribute to fund performance through generating profitable alpha-generating trade ideas
  • Analyse the main ‘top-down’ macro economic and market influences on the credit profile of covered corporates on a global basis
  • Research sector and issuer-level news, earnings and other events on a daily basis and analyse impact on credit worthiness and relative value implications
  • Attend and contribute to investment meetings, maintaining an active dialog with other analysts, traders and portfolio managers in order to react if needed

Key requirements:

  • 2-4 years’ credit research experience, either from another buy-side or sell-side firm
  • Experience covering TMT sector is preferable but not essential
  • Familiarity with analysing investment opportunities across different currencies and geographies
  • Degree qualified
  • Working towards CFA designation
  • Excellent analytical skills
