Description

A single-family office is looking to hire an Investment Strategist to join their investment team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for producing macroeconomic analysis of global markets and cross-asset investment strategy research to support and challenge strategic and tactical investment decisions
  • Present regularly in investment strategy meetings providing insight on topics covering the global economy, markets and tactical positioning
  • Advise on strategic investment allocation, tactical asset allocation and portfolio construction
  • Conduct detailed manager research on public equity, fixed income and hedge fund strategies
  • Monitor and provide constructive feedback on existing portfolios
  • Develop understanding of underlying company exposures and potential research of individual companies in existing portfolios
  • Produce high quality monthly macro reports that explores both short-term and long-term investment themes and macro trends

Ideal candidate profile:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Keen interest in and understanding of global markets and macroeconomic issues
  • Broad understanding of all investment strategies and asset classes
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player who works in a collaborative manner
