Description

An asset manager is looking to hire an Investment Research Analyst to join the multi-manager investment team.

This role will be involved in conducting ongoing investment due diligence on existing and potential new managers across a broad range of asset classes in public and private markets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Produce ongoing investment due diligence on existing managers and conduct detailed research on additional or replacement strategies
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with fund managers and manage relationships
  • Participate in investment meetings, updating the team on any developments in the funds under your coverage and make recommendations for the suitability of managers to be included in the investment strategies
  • Assist with the analysis and management of portfolio and the underlying exposures
  • Assess new investment opportunities in the private markets space including both direct and co-investments
  • Prepare investment and portfolio reports

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years relevant investment experience at either at an asset manager, asset owner or investment consultancy
  • Working towards CFA qualification
  • Degree educated
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Able to present written and verbal information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to be a team player in a collegial and collaborative working culture
