Based in the heart of trendy Shoreditch, Mason Blake is a boutique recruitment agency established for over 20 years in consulting for the investment management industry. Our focus has allowed us to become experts in the sector and build an unrivalled network of clients and candidates.

We are seeking an Associate Director to take responsibility of Talent, Learning & Performance. You will sit as part of the Senior Management team, playing a pivotal part in setting strategy.

Duties:

  • Taking the lead on all activity related to training and development
    • Assessing the training requirements of all staff
    • Ensure a robust training timetable is in place for new starters
    • Developing and running internal training courses
    • Managing the relationship with external training providers
  • Leading on internal recruitment
  • Supporting a high performance culture
  • Implementing talent development strategies that ensures healthy succession pipeline
  • Setting performance objectives for consultants
  • Organising regular internal social events
  • Designing and implementing company policies that promote a healthy work environment
  • Developing a compensation and benefits plan and creating an attractive benefits brochure
  • Running regular marketing campaigns around hot industry topics, such as ESG, Women in Business and Black Lives Matter
  • Build awareness of the Mason Blake brand
  • Prepare presentations for ‘pitch for business’ meetings for Consultants
  • Build awareness of competitor activity in the recruitment space to help differentiate Mason Blake
  • Take ownership of internal company communications

What you need to succeed:

  • 6-10 years’ experience working in the recruitment sector
  • Experience in a learning & development role
  • Exposure to basic marketing tasks
  • High level understanding of HR principals
  • The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders of all levels
  • Naturally customer service centric
  • Degree level education
  • Strategically minded
  • Ability to influence
