Description

Our client, a global investment manager with over $120 billion in assets under management, is looking to recruit a Sales Support Associate to join their London office.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Sales Director and play an integral role in supporting sales and consultant relations across Continental Europe. The role is a fast-paced route into institutional investment sales and will suit an ambitious candidate seeking long-term progression.

The Sales Support Associate will take responsibility for the following duties:

  • Supporting the Sales Director in the execution of sales and consultant relations strategies

  • Coordinating meetings, conference calls, and related follow-ups with prospects and consultants

  • Preparing tailored meeting materials, presentations, and other marketing collateral

  • Assisting with RFP coordination and ensuring effective final messaging

  • Attending meetings and calls, producing detailed meeting notes, and executing follow-up actions, including analytical support

  • Conducting research on target markets and identifying potential prospects and relevant strategies

  • Contributing to ad hoc projects and enhancing client materials to support business development efforts

  • Managing aspects of new account onboarding and start-ups

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skillset:

  • Bachelor’s degree is essential; IMC or progress towards CFA/CAIA is advantageous

  • 2–5 years’ experience in a similar role within a global asset management firm

  • Business fluency in English required, with additional European language skills (German and/or Italian) highly desirable

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail

  • A confident self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • A proactive and service-oriented mindset, able to respond quickly and professionally to team and client needs
