Our client is expanding their New York office and is looking for a Channel Marketing Manager to lead their marketing activity in North America. This is a new role and requires gravitas to work in conjunction with sales to deliver impactful marketing activity.

Working closely with the global marketing team you will be responsible for:

  • Creating and implementing marketing strategy for North America across institutional and wholesale channels to drive sales growth
  • Collaborate with the Relationship Group to develop and review sales material to ensure it is compelling and consistent with agreed positioning
  • Monitor and report on North America’s competitor landscape, creating actionable insights on competitors and how to differentiate the firm’s funds
  • Responsible for the North America marketing budget, including its creation and oversight

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive marketing experience within the investment management industry, including responsibility for strategy and budgets
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, as well as a keen eye for detail and good planning and delivery capability.
  • Comfortable communicating with senior management and people from all areas within the firm.
  • Relationship-builder both internally and externally.
  • Strong knowledge of the US (and wider Americas) regulatory environment
  • Knowledge of the full marketing mix: brand management, digital marketing, investment marketing and social media.
