Description
Our client is a growing investment management house specialising in derivative-based, systematic investment strategies. Due to continued business success, they are now looking to recruit a Discretionary Sales professional to join their high-performing Distribution team on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the UK Discretionary Head, the Discretionary Sales professional will take responsibility for the following duties:

Taking ownership of distribution across the London and Channel Islands regions, with a focus on wholesale/discretionary clients (particularly DFMs)

Managing and developing client relationships across the full product range, including equity-linked instruments, hedging strategies, credit structures, and bespoke mandates

Promoting innovative and differentiated solutions designed to improve the predictability and defined outcomes of client portfolios

Driving new business opportunities and expanding market share in key regions

Working closely with senior colleagues and investment teams to deliver tailored solutions and strong client service
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skillset:

Minimum of 2 years’ wholesale sales experience, ideally with strong exposure to DFMs

Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with discretionary clients

Self-motivated, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to take ownership of accounts from day one

Knowledge of derivatives products highly advantageous

Strong communication and relationship management skills
