Exciting opportunity to join a top long-only equity boutique.

Our client is looking to hire an Equity Research Analyst to work within the Asian Equity team. The role will involve working alongside a small team of Portfolio Managers to assist in the research and analysis of companies for all sectors within several countries in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce research on companies and generate fundamental investment ideas across a universe of Asian stocks
• Create and maintain financial models to help analyse company reports and accounts
• Develop a detailed understanding of broader macro issues/trends to evaluate economic conditions that impact companies in the region
• Attend internal investment meetings and external industry conferences
• Travel once or twice a year to the region for the purpose of visiting company management

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 2- 4 years’ experience in equity research
• Studying towards CFA qualification
• Prior experience to, or affinity with Asian market would be beneficial but not essential
• Excellent academic background; degree educated
