Equity Research Analyst – Global Emerging Markets

An exciting opportunity to join an impressive boutique investment manager to cover emerging markets equities.

The analyst will join a small investment team with a flat structure, working directly with portfolio managers in a collaborative environment with open investment debate and discussions. The successful candidate will initially be a generalist across the emerging world.

Key responsibilities:

• Undertaking research to provide relevant investment ideas to portfolio managers
• Develop and maintain financial models on companies under coverage within the emerging markets
• Liaise with management of companies; participate in company meetings and industry conferences
• Maintain overall knowledge of the emerging markets world

Experience Required:

• 1-4 years equity research experience, prior EM experience isn’t essential
• Preferably buy-side experience, strong sell-side candidates will be considered
• Passion for investing and an interest in understanding how companies work
• Keen interest in emerging markets
• Studying CFA exams
