Description

A leading global asset manager is seeking to hire an equity analyst to join the Global Equities division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing stock recommendations within the Global Technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining financial models to help analyse investment opportunities
  • Fundamentally research companies, constantly monitoring and reviewing stock recommendations and providing idea generation
  • Attend company meetings with CEOs and industry conferences
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the sector to find the most attractive and hidden investment opportunities where mis-priced optionality and potential catalysts can be identified
  • Contribute to weekly investment agenda
  • Formulate and publish thought leadership pieces focusing on strategic thinking and longer-term trends in the sector

Ideal Profile:

  • 5-10 years equity research work experience covering Technology sector
  • CFA qualified or working towards qualification
  • Excellent academic record
  • Strong financial modelling skills
  • Openness to healthy debate, willingness to go against consensus and have courage of your convictions
  • Team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
