Equity Research Analyst – Global Value

Description

A leading asset management firm is seeking an Equity Analyst to join one of their highly regarded Global Equity teams.  The successful candidate will join a successful Global Value fund to generate investment recommendations across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities:

• Detailed company analysis focusing on out of favour stocks with a focus on balance sheet and cash flow analysis
• Analyse historic underperformance and possible future outperformance
• Provide company valuation across a range of valuation methodologies
• Regular meetings with company management
• Contribute to investment idea generation and stock selection

The ideal profile will have:

• 5-10 years’ relevant equity research experience
• Interest and understanding of key business drivers for companies and how these will impact returns, performance and valuation
• Strong academic background with a 1^st or 2:1 from a leading university
• Ideally CFA or ACA qualified
• A passion for investing and financial markets
• Team player with a collaborative approach to work
