Equity Research Analyst Intern – Asia (Full-time with immediate start)

Description

A global long-only asset management firm is seeking an intern to join their highly successful Asian Equities team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in equity research and work alongside experienced investment professionals.

As an Equity Analyst Intern, you will support the Asian Equities team with research and analytical tasks, including:

• Gathering and summarising China-related market and company news flow
• Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of ESG company reviews
• Supporting analysts with investment idea generation through fundamental analysis and industry research

Candidate Requirements:

• Fluent Mandarin speaker
• Bachelor’s degree with at least a 2:1 classification (or equivalent)
• Strong numeracy skills with minimum grade A in A-level Mathematics (or equivalent)
• Proficiency in Excel
• Self-starter who enjoys independent research
• Comfortable working with limited day-to-day supervision

This is a full-time position, and candidates must be available to start immediately.
