Description
Our client, a global asset manager is looking to hire an ESG Analyst to joining the growing ESG research team as they continue to enhance their reputation as a leader in responsible and sustainable investing. This role will focus on conducting ESG Research to support the investment team and participate in engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed research and ESG screening on portfolio companies to help inform investment decision making process
- Produce thought leadership pieces on ESG related topics for internal and external audiences
- Work closely with Portfolio Managers and Analysts to identify and incorporate ESG factors into their investment decisions
- Engage with companies on ESG issues and instigate engagement initiatives
- Support Sales & Marketing teams and contribute to client presentations, pitches and reviews
- Keep up-to-date with relevant industry trends
Candidate Requirements:
- 2-4 years relevant work experience in an ESG focused role
- Prior experience engaging with companies on ESG topics
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Degreed educated
