Description

Our client, a global asset manager is looking to hire an ESG Analyst to joining the growing ESG research team as they continue to enhance their reputation as a leader in responsible and sustainable investing. This role will focus on conducting ESG Research to support the investment team and participate in engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed research and ESG screening on portfolio companies to help inform investment decision making process
  • Produce thought leadership pieces on ESG related topics for internal and external audiences
  • Work closely with Portfolio Managers and Analysts to identify and incorporate ESG factors into their investment decisions
  • Engage with companies on ESG issues and instigate engagement initiatives
  • Support Sales & Marketing teams and contribute to client presentations, pitches and reviews
  • Keep up-to-date with relevant industry trends

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2-4 years relevant work experience in an ESG focused role
  • Prior experience engaging with companies on ESG topics
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Degreed educated
