Description

Our client, a global asset manager is looking to hire a Sustainability Analyst to join the equities investment team. The role will be responsible for ESG research, integration and engagement activities within the investment team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ESG research on new and existing portfolio companies to identify material ESG risk/opportunities and any new or emerging issues
  • Assist in climate change analysis and help to model the impact of climate change of portfolio companies and evaluate their carbon transition strategy
  • Undertake thematic research to identify ESG risk and themes relevant to equity markets
  • Assist with ESG engagement activities by conducting research to plan company engagements, actions and objectives
  • Support Portfolio Managers and broader team in presentations and client interactions
  • Develop and manage ESG data and tools

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 6-10 years’ relevant experience in an ESG or sustainability focused role within consulting or corporate sustainability
  • Educated to degree level
  • Passion for sustainable investing, climate change and responsible ownership
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
