Description
Our client is a global name within investment management. Due to continued company growth and success, they are now looking to recruit a Fixed Income Fund Manager’s Assistant (FMA).
Working as part of a high performing team which provide assistance to the Fixed Income Fund Managers, the Fixed Income FMA will take responsibility for the following duties:
- Providing portfolio reporting and other ad hoc reporting to assist fund managers in the investment decision making process
- Validating a range of Credit, High Yield and Global Rates’ Fund daily performance figures
- Carrying out query resolution for Fund Managers
- Resolution of system and data issues for Fund Managers
- Assisting with ad hoc projects
- Assisting in the monitoring of Currency Hedging Ratios and subsequent entering of FX Spot and Forwards transactions in order to rebalance the portfolios
- Assisting Money Market Fund Managers with the daily monitoring of position and cash balances
- Provide cover for other FMA desks, such as LDI and Multi-Strategy
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria:
- Experience working as an FMA or Trade Support Analyst within a buy-side house
- A working knowledge of Fixed Income
- Educated to degree level or equilavent
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel, including VBA proficiency and ability to code
- Asset management experience is crucial. Please do not apply without sector-relevant experience
