Fixed Income Trader – Global Asset Management Firm

Description

Our client, one of the largest asset managers in the world is looking to hire a Fixed Income Trader.

In this role you will be working on the centralised Trading desk and trading a wide range of Fixed Income assets.

Responsibilities:

• Dealing and hedging all classes of corporate bonds and credit derivatives
• Gather and communicate information about market sentiment, trading environment, trading flows and price changes to Portfolio Managers
• Achieve best execution through analysing new trading techniques and liquidity sources
• Develop good working relationships with brokers to extract maximum benefit for the firm and its clients

The ideal candidate:

• 1-5 years’ proven trading experience on the buy-side or sell-side
• Working knowledge of fixed income markets
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to establish creditbility and trust quickly with both clients and colleagues
• Team player
