Description

Our client is a global player within the investment management industry. Due to increased growth, they are now looking to add a new role of Business Change Manager to their team in London.

The Business Change Manager will take responsibility for the following duties:

  • Monitor, maintain and review Front Office processes and procedures
  • Line Management of analysts performing Line Monitoring, Committee Meeting Preparation, Front Office Query Management and Procedure updates
  • Ownership for Front Office and Front Office Services detailed procedures for new & existing processes
  • Provide technical analysis and documentation to ensure operational and monitoring objectives are achieved
  • Champion for Incident resolution within SLA across Front Office
  • Support change and operational projects
  • Identify Business gaps and potential improvements
  • Embed new Initiatives into BAU through business testing, procedures, training and communications
  • Document and review detailed procedures for new & existing processes

The Business Change Manager will be naturally data centric and mathematically minded, and will meet the following skill set:

  • Experience of working with front office processes within a buy-side asset management house
  • Experienced in problem solving, mapping business flows and all aspects of product delivery – a focus on the outcome not just the task.
  • Change and transformation experience
  • Line Management experience focusing on mentoring and developing staff including objective setting, performance against objectives and succession planning.
  • Strong Data skills, experience of working with big data and proficient in Excel (incl. VBA) and SharePoint
  • Good understanding of workflows to address gaps in processes
  • Experienced in problem solving and mapping business flows
  • Ability to communicate and escalate potential issues in a prompt and effective manner
  • Self-starter and ability to effectively communicate and influence others into a consistent approach
