Description

A global asset management firm is looking to recruit an FX Trader to join the Trading desk in its London office.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute FX trades including FX spot, forward & options for a broad range of portfolios
  • Analyse market and instrument information to create actionable investment opportunities
  • Assist in the management of the FX forward and options books, identifying opportunities for ongoing process improvements
  • Develop productive working relationships with Portfolio Managers to enhance understanding of investment strategies
  • Develop relationships with sales team at brokers to harvest the best liquidity opportunities in the market
  • Achieve best execution through analysing new trading techniques and liquidity sources

The ideal candidate:

  • Relevant trading experience on the buy-side or sell-side
  • Educated to degree level in Finance, Mathematics, Economics or related field
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills
  • Quantitative mindset and programming experience in Python would be desirable
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise demands in a high volume, fast-paced environment
