Description
A prestigious asset manager based in the City has an excellent opportunity for a credit analyst to join the fixed income team. The successful candidate will cover mostly investment grade and high yield issuers in the Communication sector.
The main responsibilities include:
- Undertake fundamental credit analysis on North American and European companies in the Communication sector
- Evaluate proposed investments and make recommendations to portfolio managers
- Attend industry events and conferences
- Contribute to wider fixed income investment meetings
The successful candidate with have:
- 2-5 years relevant experience working within corporate credit analysis on the buy-side, sell-side or ratings agency
- Experience covering the Communication or Media sector is ideal, but not essential
- Minimum 2:1 degree in a financial/numerical degree
- Preferably working towards CFA accreditation
- Strong interpersonal skills
