Description

An exciting opportunity to join a long-only asset manager as an Equity Analyst. In this role you would have generalist sector coverage and be responsible for generating and reviewing investment ideas for a number of global equity strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed fundamental equity analysis, focusing on the strength and direction of competitive advantages, return drivers and broader industry dynamics
  • Build and maintain financial models, analyse financial performance, returns on capital and valuation
  • Present investment ideas to Portfolio Managers
  • Perform ESG analysis on stocks to identify and assess how sustainability integrates in a company’s business model and consider the positive and negative impacts
  • Contribute to rigorous investment debate within the team to uncover new insights and perspectives
  • Conduct meetings with company management

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 3 years’ work experience in a fundamental equity research role
  • Experience within deep dive company analysis
  • Passion for sustainable investing and understanding of sustainability themes/challenges and trends
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Ideally CFA qualified
  • High integrity and loyalty
