Global Equity Product Specialist

Description

A global asset manager is looking to hire a Product Specialist to join the Global Equities team. This role will sit in the Investment team and will be responsible for the product and business development for the Global Equity team. The successful candidate will an integral member of the Global Equity team and be fully immersed in the investment process.

Main Duties:

• Participate in meetings with consultants, existing clients and prospects
• Articulate investment philosophy and process of Global Equity team to consultants and clients
• Point of contact for all technical questions related to the equity fund range
• Assist in the writing of market reviews, investment commentary and pitchbooks
• Support the development of marketing materials to articulate investment strategy and capabilities
• Primary interface between the investment team and Sales & Marketing teams
• Produce thought-leadership pieces on thematic topics
• Liaise closely with the ESG team on corporate engagements and ESG investment issues
• Assist Portfolio Managers and Equity Analysts on ad-hoc analysis and projects

Key requirements:

• Ideally 3-5 years relevant institutional buy side experience
• Technically minded, with a passion for equity investing
• Working towards or completed CFA qualification
• Team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Personable, articulate and willingness to learn
