Description

A global asset manager is seeking to hire a Product Specialist to join the fixed income business.

This individual will generate client value by being the vital and effective link between the Investment and Distribution business.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Engage with clients on investment strategy insights, performance and investment process
  • Liaise closely with internal stakeholders building strong relationships with Portfolio Managers, Sales and Marketing team
  • Main point of contact on any product related queries thus needing in depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products and capabilities
  • Represent Portfolio Managers at external marketing events and client and consultant meetings
  • Produce portfolio commentary to be distributed to clients
  • Support with product development initiatives
  • Develop and promote the product to both internal and external clients

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5-10 years relevant experience preferably as a product specialist, portfolio manager, research analyst, sales or relationship manager
  • Strong global fixed income product knowledge
  • Ability to present and communicate with key stakeholders within the business and external clients
  • CFA qualification is desirable
  • Strong academic background with professional qualifications being advantageous
  • Excellent team player
