Description

Our client is a top tier investment management house looking to recruit a Client Manager to provide an excellent service to some of their biggest and most complex clients.

The Client Manager will take responsibility for the following duties:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio institutional clients and act as the first point of contact in the Client Director’s absence
  • Understanding a clients decision making process and long-term objective and providing high level technical support, answer queries and identify opportunities and threats.
  • Identify leads and sales opportunities with the aim to maximise revenue
  • Responsible for reviewing and signing off draft instructions for the peers
  • Display technical knowledge in areas such as the company’s products, brand, services and competitors.
  • Develop knowledge of the current investment market, economic issues and views, to be able to discuss solutions with clients and consultants
  • Devise meeting packs for client meetings and new business pitches
  • Manage the production of legal documentation, reports and client specific data relevant to the client investment strategy
  • Utilise expertise from around the business to manage and resolve ad-hoc queries, data requests and client change in line with client expectations.

The Client Manager will meet the following skillset:

  • IMC Certified as well as a degree (preferably 2:1) or equivalent is desired
  • Experience in Investment Management including client services, sales support and knowledge of current investment market and economic issues
  • Ability to build strong relationships with external clients/contacts across all levels
  • Institutional client experience and detailed Institutional Investment product knowledge (LDI, Cashflow matching, Credit, Real Assets and Index funds)
  • Experience with workflow management and strong overall Investment knowledge including an understanding of the different investment vehicle options
  • Highly organised, proactive and ability to work on own initiative
  • Highly team-orientated and possess a good level of ‘gravitas’ and resilience
