Description
Our client is a leading name within the investment management industry. Due to continued company growth and success, they are now looking to recruit an Investment Attribution Team Manager to join their flourishing team on a permanent basis.
The Investment Attribution Team Manager will lead and direct the team, as well as focusing on the following duties:
- Managing a small team of Attribution Analysts: leading the team, delegating tasks, conducting performance reviews, one-to-ones etc
- Produce fixed Income attribution
- Actively participate in meetings with fund managers, strategist and product specialists
- Actively provide enhancements to attribution models and processes
- Continually seek to understand and satisfy clients
- Ensure appropriate controls are in place for all functions within the team
- Share knowledge and collaborate with more junior team members
- Be open and forthcoming with ideas, views and able to form a view
- Stay well informed about markets, investments, methodologies and products, initiatives and investor requirements
The Investment Attribution Team Manager will take responsibility for the following duties:
- Management / supervisory experience
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent, preferably in quantitative subject
- Have several years of experience in a Performance or Attribution role
- Proven experience in the investment management industry
- Excellent understanding of investment strategies and different attribution breakdowns
- Thorough understanding of derivatives and their uses in portfolio management
- Strong bond mathematics skills
- Some experience in programming and working with databases (Python, VBA, SQL)
