Description

A world leading investment management firm is seeking a Junior Investment Analyst to join their real estate team. In this role you will be working with the UK Portfolio Management team analysing/monitoring investments, executing transactions and managing client portfolios. This is an excellent opportunity for any recent graduate looking to make the money into Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities

Produce forecast returns for invested funds.

Attend meetings with fund managers; take an active role in fund monitoring

Formulate client investment plans with senior team members, ensuring client portfolios are positioned in accordance with market views and within the mandate’s investment restraints

Support the underwriting and due diligence of new investments, including the creation of financial models

Monitor data for client and investment performance

Actively input in review of investment proposals; prepare materials necessary to support the approval of new investments

Person Specification

Work experience in asset management, commercial real estate investment, finance, or research function is essential

Excellent financial modelling and database skills are essential for this role

Pro-active and enjoy working alone and as part of a wider team

Flexible style of working

Excellent written and oral communication skills
