Description

An exciting opportunity to be part of a small growing Fixed Income team at a Global Asset Management firm. The main purpose of this role is to assist in the management of an emerging market fixed income hard currency bond portfolio.

Key Tasks:

  • Assist the lead Portfolio Manager in the implementation of the investment strategy and adapt those decisions according to client objectives and constraints
  • Build models to generate trade ideas and contribute to the portfolio construction process
  • Liaise with Quant Research team on research ideas and implementation of a quantitatively based benchmark replication model
  • Involved in ad-hoc projects to support the build out of quantitative research underpinning country and securities valuations

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 4 years’ in Fixed Income analysis or portfolio management
  • Prior experience working in Emerging Markets
  • Knowledge of optimisation algorithms
  • Excellent analytical skills; coding ability in VBA and Python would be beneficial
  • Strong academic profile; Economics, Finance or quantitative related degree
