Junior Trader (Multi-Asset)

Description

A leading asset manager is looking to recruit a Junior Trader to join the trading desk in London. The team adopts a ‘non siloed’ approach and the successful candidate will execute trades across Equities and FX in Developed and Emerging Markets.

Responsibilities:

• Execution of Equity of global FX trades including FX spot, forward and options in both developed and emerging markets
• Provide Portfolio Managers with market commentary, discuss trade ideas and give them daily feedback on the markets
• Analyse and monitor trades to achieve best execution
• Develop relationships with sell-side
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to increase the efficiency of the trading process

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 1-2 years trading experience at a buy-side or sell-side institution
• Degree educated
• Excellent IT skills; Excel, Bloomberg and trading platforms
• Strong understanding and interested in financial markets
• Confident, articulate with the ability to thrive under pressure
• Team oriented
