Description

A global investment management firm is seeking to hire a Portfolio Analyst to join the Multi-Asset investment team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct portfolio analysis to monitor underlying positions, risk drivers, performance and market dynamics/volatility
  • Contribute to portfolio construction and risk management using quantitative techniques
  • Conduct manager research across multiple investment strategies and asset classes
  • Support Portfolio Manager with the construction of multi-manager portfolios
  • Enhance portfolio and risk analytics capabilities within the team

Candidate Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an analytical role in the asset management industry
  • Good understanding and knowledge of risk management and portfolio construction techniques
  • Advanced analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong grasp of Excel and familiarity with Python or R
  • An enthusiastic and hands-on approach
  • An inquisitive and proactive nature
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative dynamic team environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and keep track of various deadlines
  • A strong academic background and degree
