Product Manager (Pooled Funds)

Description

Our client is a leading investment management boutique. Due to continued business success, they are now looking to recruit a Product Manager to join their high-performing team on a permanent basis.

Working closely alongside the Senior Product Manager and the Head of Product, the Product Manager will assume the following remit:

• Assisting in developing and maintaining a robust product process to ensure the business can effectively identify, design and launch new products and services
• Assisting in the development and design process
• Project manage new pooled fund launches, or modifications to existing funds, from inception to completion
• Assist in monitoring and ongoing maintenance of all client facing documentation including KIIDs
• Liaising with Compliance, Company Secretarial and external lawyers to ensure that documentation reflects regulatory changes
• Engaging with various working groups to ensure that documentation updates are delivered in a timely manner
• Assist in developing and maintaining library or database of static Product data
• Ensuring that all product governance related projects are managed effectively, keeping the Product Governance Committee and any other relevant committees informed of the status of each project
• Producing reports on Product Governance for relevant committees
• Actioning requests from the Product Governance Committee
• Ad hoc project management

The Product Manager will meet the following credentials:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Professional qualifications (such as IMC, CFA) preferred
• 3+ years’ experience within investment management
• Good understanding of pooled funds is essential
• Project management experience
• Ability to adhere to tight deadlines while multi-tasking and working under pressure
• Know when to escalate issues, and how to do so concisely and effectively
