Our client, a prestigious institutional asset manager, is looking to recruit a Proposal Writer to join their team based in London. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and creative individual with strong interest in the ESG space.

The Proposal Writer will have the following responsibilities:

  • Write, edit and proofread company responses to questionnaires, liaising with subject matter experts across the firm.
  • Develop an expertise in ESG content to effectively enhance responses.
  • Produce high-quality, complex requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs) and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) based on well-researched understanding of clients’ needs.
  • Establish strong working relationships with all internal clients (i.e. Client Directors, Portfolio Managers, Product Specialists).
  • Serve as an internal ESG resource.

The Proposal Writer will require the following skill set:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an RFP position within asset management is essential.
  • Solid knowledge and/or interest in the ESG space. Completion of the CFA ESG qualification would be a plus.
  • Strong investment knowledge across major asset classes.
  • Familiarity with RFP content systems e.g. PMAPS, Qvidian will be favourable.
  • Commitment to quality and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
