Our client, a global asset manager is looking to hire an analyst to join their Responsible Investing team as a Proxy Voting Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for people who are passionate about ESG investing and want to pursue a career down this path.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the team’s proxy voting needs included but not limited to:
- Client on boarding and reconciliation
- Managing the voting process
- Consistent communication with the proxy voting research provider
- Producing data in several types of formats to assist client vote reporting, policy development and the overall management of proxy voting
- Assisting with the product of presentations
- Represent the Responsible Investment team internally with other teams that engage in account start ups and administration
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5-10 years relevant experience at a buy-side firm
- Extensive knowledge of the voting process
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to identify a problem and have the confidence to interact with other departments to produce a solution
- Ability to adapt to the teams growing needs
- Ability to transform complex data into easy to understand information
- Interest in ESG and proxy voting
