Our client, a global asset manager is looking to hire an analyst to join their Responsible Investing team as a Proxy Voting Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for people who are passionate about ESG investing and want to pursue a career down this path.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the team’s proxy voting needs included but not limited to:
  • Client on boarding and reconciliation
  • Managing the voting process
  • Consistent communication with the proxy voting research provider
  • Producing data in several types of formats to assist client vote reporting, policy development and the overall management of proxy voting
  • Assisting with the product of presentations
  • Represent the Responsible Investment team internally with other teams that engage in account start ups and administration

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5-10 years relevant experience at a buy-side firm
  • Extensive knowledge of the voting process
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to identify a problem and have the confidence to interact with other departments to produce a solution
  • Ability to adapt to the teams growing needs
  • Ability to transform complex data into easy to understand information
  • Interest in ESG and proxy voting
