Our client, a top tier asset manager in the UK are looking for a Reconciliations Manager to lead and direct one of their Transaction Operations teams based in Horsham.

The Reconciliations Manager needs to be a strong people manager and a result will take responsibility for the following duties: 

  • Manage a large team; this includes appraisals, one-to-ones and providing guidance to junior staff
  • Taking charge of the direction and performance of the team
  • Ensure reconciliation breaks are completed in line with SLA’s and deadlines
  • Manage the accuracy and continuity of data within the supported systems
  • Produce MI reports for the Board and senior management
  • Provide cover to the Head of EMEA Transaction Operations on an ad hoc basis.

As the Reconciliations Manager you will be required to meet the following criteria: 

  • Proven experience in leading and developing a team
  • Strong investigations skills preferred (liaising with internal & external parties);
  • Familiar with equities, fixed income and derivative products desired
  • Prior experience Project and Business Change experience is preferred but not essential
  • Receptive to change and continuously looks for improvement opportunities
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise and delegate appropriately
