The Opportunity
An established global investment firm is seeking a motivated, French-speaking Sales Associate to join its London-based distribution team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual looking to build a career in investment management, working alongside experienced sales professionals to grow client relationships across the European market. Previous financial services experience is beneficial but not essential for candidates with a strong sales background and an interest in financial markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach via phone, email, and digital channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Arrange meetings and support senior sales professionals in developing new business.
- Manage and update CRM records, ensuring accurate tracking of client activity.
- Respond to client enquiries and share relevant investment insights and resources.
- Support and attend client events, webinars, and industry functions.
- Stay informed on market trends and develop a strong understanding of the firm’s investment solutions.
Candidate Requirements
- Fluent in French and English.
- Degree educated or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Proven success in a sales or business development environment.
- Strong interest in financial markets and willingness to learn.
- Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Resilient, organised and motivated by achieving ambitious targets.
- Experience using CRM systems and prospecting tools is advantageous.
