Senior Crypto Trader

Description

Our client, a global hedge fund is seeking a Cryptocurrency Trader to join their trading team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute cryptocurrency trades efficiently across spot and derivatives markets
• Research, develop and implement trading strategies to capitalise on market opportunities
• Monitor market trends, sentiment, liquidity, and volatility, adjusting strategies dynamically to optimise performance
• Provide timely market insights, updates and research to inform investment decision-making
• Collaborate with operations and other front office teams to ensure seamless execution and end-to-end trade management
• Contribute to the firm’s risk management framework and help maintain robust trading controls
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of exchange rules, regulations and market structures to ensure compliant trading activity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with counterparties, including exchanges, OTC desks, and liquidity providers.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of trading experience including strong knowledge of crypto spot and derivative products
• Deep interest and understanding of cryptocurrency markets
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to make fast, informed decisions under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience with OMS systems and trading platforms
