Description

A highly regarded asset manager is looking to hire a Senior ESG Investment Analyst to join the ESG research team. The successful candidate will lead the firm’s ESG strategy on Climate Change and Environmental issues working closely with the Investment team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed sustainable investment research and screening on companies to inform investment decision making process
  • Develop the strategy on environmental and climate change issues in relation to sustainable investments
  • Build effective relationships with Portfolio Managers and advise them on climate change impacts and risks
  • Contribute to client pitches, reviews and business development opportunities
  • Produce thought leadership within the area of climate change and sustainable investing
  • Represent the firm at leading industry/trade events and media spokesperson
  • Assist with engagement activities
  • Provide ideas and contribute to setting of ESG strategy for the firm

Candidate Requirements:

  • Relevant work experience as an ESG Analyst at an asset management firm
  • Solid experience in ESG analysis with a particular expertise in climate change and environmental issues
  • Passion for sustainable and ESG investing
  • Strong academic record
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a client facing position
  • Collaborative approach to work
