Senior Investment Analyst

Description

A privately-owned investment consultancy business, which has recently experienced considerable growth, is currently recruiting for a Senior Investment Analyst. The role will support the investment consultants on a portfolio of existing and potential clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Attending and presenting at client meetings with investment consultants, drafting meeting minutes and quickly following up on actions
• Setting up and maintaining asset-liability models
• Organising fund manager selection exercises
• Quarterly investment reporting
• Adding to the growth of the firm and team by helping to prepare for new business tenders

Key requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience within an investment consulting team
• Partially qualified actuary or CFA charter-holder (study support will be provided)
• Excellent interpersonal skills with both internal and external professional relationships
• A good basic understanding of investment markets and asset classes, integrated risk management, applicable regulatory/legislative rules and compliance (e.g. FCA client categorisation) and current industry trends
