Our Client, a global investment specialist is seeking to hire a Senior Marketing Manager. They are a fast growing company that is well known and trusted in the investment world. Their teams strive to deliver consistent investment options and are totally focus on their clients.

Overview of the role

The successful candidate will be leading the development, delivery, communications and review of the marketing and communications plans. The key focus of this role is to support the targets for the Institutional business area, ensuring they are focused on their clients. In addition they will support relationship managers and must beneficially contribute to the relevant business strategy.

Responsibilities involved with the role

  • Build strong relationships with the companies clients, relevant business areas and internal teams
  • Lead and support ad hoc projects
  • Ensure that all regulatory requirements and internal guidelines are followed.
  • Develop and drive marketing activity to support relevant channels using external clients, competitive research and market development.
  • Lead and own the development of marketing strategies to complement relevant sales strategies, meets business objectives and deliver them within budget
  • Monitor media activity
  • Establish marketing strategies to maximise opportunities such as managing existing clients, previous and new enquiries.
  • Conduct the development of strategic and tactical marketing plans for all products sold and the launch of new products.

Essential Requirements

  • Knowledge in the investment management industry and marketing or financial drivers.
  • Having another European language is an advantage (French/German/Italian)
  • Experience in presenting and communicating on a regular basis with senior management and clients.
  • The ability to implement marketing strategies in their relevant channels.
  • Having experience managing external 3rd party relationship and internal stakeholders
  • Being proactive, accountable and prepared to challenge conventional thinking.
  • Understanding and have experience of the full media mix, promotions and communications.
