Fundamental L/S Equity Analyst – US Focus

Our client is a hedge fund who is looking to recruit a L/S Equity Analyst to analyse stocks with a focus on US equity markets

The Equity Analyst will be generating ideas across a variety of sectors.

Main responsibilities:

• Undertaking deep fundamental bottom up research on a wide variety of companies.
• Working as part of a team providing research ideas to different strategies across the business.
• Identifying and assessing sustainability of companies and groups of companies under analysis, providing an integrated approach to research
• Attending company meetings.
• Communicating in both written and oral form with clients and companies.

Candidate requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience working in equity research buy or sell side
• Generalist sector coverage preferred
• Prior experience in investment banking preferred
• CFA qualification preferred
• Exceptional academic background
• Intellectually curious and commercially minded
• Strong financial modelling skills
