Description
Junior Portfolio Manager
Full-time | London-based investment firm
The Opportunity
A boutique investment management firm is looking to hire a Junior Portfolio Manager to support its discretionary and advisory portfolio management function.
This is a hands-on role offering real exposure across portfolio construction, investment research, risk management, client reporting, and business development. You will work closely with senior investment professionals and gain end-to-end visibility across the investment process, from macro analysis and security selection through to client communication and regulatory support.
The role suits someone technically strong, intellectually curious, and commercially aware, who wants to grow into a fully-fledged portfolio management career rather than sit in a narrow execution role.

1–4 years’ experience within investment management, asset management, or a related financial services environment
-
Strong understanding of multi-asset portfolios and financial markets

Advanced Excel skills; experience with macros and automation highly desirable
-
Strong analytical capability with high attention to detail
-
Confident written and verbal communicator
