Business Development Manager – Sustainable Fund

Description

Our client is an award-winning investment management house with a focus on sustainable investing. They are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager, in a new role to drive new revenue growth for the company.

The Business Development Manager will take responsibility for the following duties:

• Build and maintain new and existing client relationships
• Work with investments to establish a sales strategy
• Establish how existing clients, prospects and main intermediaries are structured/operate and their main due diligence capabilities
• Recognise and develop prospects and generate new business leads
• Lead client meetings from introductory stages through to investment
• Obtain knowledge of products and services and work with the team to develop and execute business strategies
• Maintain internal systems and infrastructure, CRM system, supporting and marketing documents

The Business Development Manager will meet the following skillset:

• Experience in a business development role in the investment management sector
• Ability to work within tight deadlines as well as maintain a consistent quality output
• Driven and self-motivated
• Knowledge of the key business drivers for IFAs and third parties with reference to impact investing is desired
• Display excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate at all client levels
• Track record of winning new business and delivering growth in revenue and profitability
