Institutional Client Services Associate

A leading global investment management firm is seeking an Institutional Client Services Associate to join its collaborative institutional team. Based in London, the role will support institutional clients and investment consultants across the UK and EMEA, with broader exposure to global relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced client services professional to gain broad exposure across institutional client servicing, business development and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key contact for institutional clients and consultants, delivering a high-quality, responsive client experience.
• Coordinate day-to-day client requirements, including enquiries, reporting, transactions and onboarding.
• Support institutional business development activities, including client meetings, presentations, events and follow-up.
• Coordinate RFPs, DDQs, presentations and client materials alongside internal RFP, Marketing and investment teams.
• Liaise with Client Reporting and other internal functions to ensure accurate and timely delivery of client requirements.
• Support investment management agreement processes and client onboarding.
• Prepare briefing materials and presentations for client and consultant meetings.
• Maintain client and prospect data and support wider distribution and market outreach initiatives.
• Partner across Sales, Marketing, Investments, Operations, Legal and Compliance to resolve client requirements and deliver new business opportunities.

Candidate Profile

• 4+ years’ experience in institutional client services, consultant relations or a related role within investment management.
• Strong understanding of institutional asset management and financial markets.
• Client-focused, highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, collaborative and commercially minded, with the ability to anticipate client and business needs.
• Experience with CRM/distribution technology; familiarity with AI tools is advantageous.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple internal teams.
• Willingness to develop knowledge across different investment strategies, vehicles and client types.
